	Gilles Gets Grand National Feature win at Chilton!
		The Friday the 13th race night proved to be an exciting night of racing with a rollover in the Challenge division, flying wheels in Street Stock and Challengers and the feature winners in every division priming their night of racing by winning their heat race earlier in the program.
		Gilles of Plymouth sped to the lead and held off Schommer for the final 11 laps of the 25-lap Grand National Feature.
		Gilles, as well as winning the feature event, won his 3rd heat win of the season in heat race #4 earlier in the racing program.

		The only thing that links the two bands is Gilles’ distinctive drumming style, which becomes ever so apparent when listening to this release.
		The funky piano parts of Gerard Masters and Carr’s smooth and unthreatening voice give the track a quality that lends itself to commercial radio, but without conforming to the standards of it.
		The title track, ‘Free’ is just as smooth and poppy as ‘Little Miss Liar’- the sing-a-lot chorus is supplemented by the Clapton-esque guitar solo of Ben Nightingale, formerly of the Sleepy Jackson, who joins the band on the song.

		Silverchair is into the third month of its planned one-year sabbatical from the road and recording studio, and drummer Ben Gilles is spending the downtime by working behind the counter at a record shop.
		But at Sound World, Gilles has been earning approximately $7.28 an hour during his five hour, twice-a-week shifts and is not allowed to sign autographs for fans -- who have been snapping up the store's back copies of Silverchair singles -- while on the clock.
		However, the Silverchair trio of Gilles, singer-guitarist Daniel Johns, and bassist Chris Joannou have said that there are a few completed band tracks that may pop up on soundtracks or compilation records during the band's absence from the music scene.
