Ben Goodger (born in London, England) is a former employee of Netscape Communications Corporation and the Mozilla Foundation and lead developer of the Firefox web browser.
Ben grew up in Auckland, New Zealand, and graduated from the University of Auckland in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.
When he was a teenager, Ben gained some notoriety in anime nerd circles for his large and very popular Sailor Moon website called "Millennium", which shares the same namesake as his personal website.

Following on from Mike Connor's concerns about Mozilla Firefox development, lead engineer Ben Goodger has written a weblog post saying that work is ongoing to ensure Firefox meets its short-term and long-term goals.
Ben points to the Firefox section of Mozilla development wiki, which includes details about the plans for 1.1 and 2.0 (well worth reading if you want a technical look at what the future holds) and also announces that he is delegating responsibility for some features to others.
Ben hopes this will give him more time to spend on release management, code reviews and long-neglected areas of Mozilla code (bookmarks, history and search are specifically singled out).

Goodger himself complained about Microsoft's software in a December posting on his blog.
