The paper will examine language policies in the Arabic speaking world insofar as these relate to the native language and how it is deployed in school curricula.
Building on a brief analysis of language policies from the past, the paper offers a critique of Arabic language reforms in the modern period, placing them in their historical and socio-political contexts.
Taking a language ideology approach to these reforms, the paper will show how issues of continuity and change, tradition and modernity and the defence of the language against external enemies, real or imagines, play an important part in the success or otherwise of these reforms.

Fusing Hardware and Simulation Test Bench Development
Graphical test bench generation is the process of automatically creating test bench source code from an interface description and the bus transactions supported by the user's model.
Instead of entering the test bench code by hand, the developer sends his HDL model under test to a test bench generator, which automatically extracts the port interface signals of the design into a timing diagram editing environment.
Test bench code is often difficult to understand even when written using modular programming techniques because of the large amount of parallel activity occurring in the test bench, much of which is distributed throughout the test bench.

This ruling was given by a bench comprising Chief Justice S Rajendra Babu, Justice A R Lakshmanan and Justice G P Mathur while rejecting a petition saying imposition of Marathi as a subject in syllabi violated the fundamental right of minority community to set up and administer a school of their choice.
Justice Babu, writing for the bench, said it was settled that a state could impose reasonable regulations on institutions established and managed by minority community for protecting the larger interest of the State and the Nation.

The first of these is not possible in any language I know, but you may be surprised to hear that the second, third, and fourth examples have word orders that could well make sensible sentences in Old English.
