Team Lotus was an English Formula One racing team, one of the most successful in the 1960s and 1970s.
A new Formula 2 regulation was announced for 1957 and in Britain several organizers ran races for the new regulations during the course of 1956.
Former Team Lotus employees Peter Collins and Peter Wright organized a deal to take over the team from the Chapman Family and in December the new Team Lotus was launched with Mika Häkkinen and Julian Bailey being signed for the 1991 season.

They [Benetton and Benetton Formula] are two different businesses, they are to be run on a separate basis for logical reasons but they are the same family.
Benetton won the world championship with Germany's Michael Schumacher in 1994 and 1995 and started last season in promising fashion only to slump in the second half of the year.

The Jaguar Ford team was formed in 2000 as a result of Ford buying outright the Stewart Grand Prix team which was founded in 1997 by former multiple Formula 1 World Champion Jackie Stewart and his son Paul.
In 1998 the Jordan racing team scored its first victory with a now famous first and second for Damon Hill and Ralf Schumacher in Belgium, and the team went on to finish fourth in the Constructors Championship.
Throughout 1998 and 1999 the Benetton powered by Supertec engines have been off the pace, and this year the announcement of a buy out by Renault means that the Benetton team will soon rejoin at the front of the Formula One field.

The Benetton team boss has reportedly threatened to boycott Formula One races in Italy if there are convictions for the 1994 death of Ayrton Senna at Imola.
Benetton team chief Flavio Briatore said he would boycott races in Italy if any of the Williams team were convicted.
Benetton have sounded a warning of a serious championship challenge in 1997 when they unveiled their new car over two months before the new season.

It is a rough race, but a very fact pit (stop from 140mph) and fast take off keep me one turn ahead of the number two and three car, which are handling cars.
Unforunately Team Jaguar number one driver, Bill Severe, and Team William's number one driver, Lawence, posted higher for first and second, leaving Team Benetton only car on the track in third on the grid.
Although Team William's other car made second place from the back of the grid, it was largely due to the lack of compettion from others drivers as their misfortunes dropped them out..
