All I know about my ggg-grandfather is that, from the marriage certificate of his son, Henry Wadsworth, his name was BenjaminWadsworth and that he was a farmer.

Benjamin Cecil Wadsworth, 56, died suddenly last Sunday night after becoming suddenly ill while teaching a training union class at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Wadsworth was born in this county on March 18, 1908, son of the late Robert M. and Mary Johnson Wadsworth.
He had lived all his life in this county and was a carpenter by profession, and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, and was very active in the work of his church having served as church clerk, Sunday school teacher and chairman of the Board of Deacons.
With the success of a collection of short stories, The Sketch Book Of Geoffrey Crayon, Gent., which included “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” and “Rip Van Winkle,” Irving was able to write full time; the sequel to the Sketch Book, Bracebridge Hall, appeared in 1822.
During the years from 1815 to 1832, Irving lived in various places in Europe, where he met Mary Shelley and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and, while staying in Spain, wrote several historical books including two about Christopher Columbus.
The true story of Captain Benjamin L. Bonneville, who left for California in May, 1832, but was not heard from and was suspected to be dead.
Are you related to George Allen Wadsworth, the son of William Wadsworth and Hannah Wilkinson?
George emigrated with his uncle James Wadsworth on 5-23-1856 from Sheffield, England and landed at Cape Cod, MA which is 1-2 miles away from Boston Harbor on 6-28-1856.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (to whom Allston read his "Lectures on Art"), William Cullen Bryant (a friend of Dana Sr.), and James Russell Lowell (who replaced Longfellow at Harvard) also made references to seeing such illusions in their poetry.
I began researching and writing only after I was advised that people would view what I saw as my projections, rather than a reading of Homer's projections, unless I could provide a logical explanation why he might have painted such images.
I was astonished when I read Washington Allston, Richard Henry Dana Sr, Benjamin Welles, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, and William Cullen Bryant.
