Benny Lynch (April 2, 1913- August 8, 1946) is considered by some to be one of the finest boxers below the lightweight division in his era and has been described as the greatest fighter that the United Kingdom has ever produced.
Benny settled the matter when he out-pointed Filipino Small Montana in London in 1936 to established himself as the undisputed world flyweight boxing champion.
Benny Lynch's boxing career was over by the time he was 25 and he battled with alcohol for the rest of his life.

Jackie Brown in two rounds in what promoters acclaimed to be a "British, European and worlds's flyweight title match." The book on Benny Lynch was loaned to me by the lovely Janice 'Ads Manager' at BN - SHE PASSED AWAY LAST YEAR -CANCER.
I read a paperback, Benny-The life and times of a fighting legend, what a read, it gave an excellent insight into not only Benny Lynch but the Glasgow Gorbals, the gangs, the dance halls and the legendary pubs.

By AP NEW YORK -- A federal judge found the hip-hop magazine The Source in contempt of court for violating an order not to publish racially charged lyrics from a recording made by rapper Eminem as a youth.
In a companion ruling, the same judge dismissed a countersuit filed by The Source against Shady Records and Eminem himself, in which the magazine claimed it held the rights to the songs.
