KUANTAN, Oct 24 (Bernama) -- The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Syed Putra Jamalullail and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Fauziah Tengku Abdul Rashid have been bestowed Pahang's highest state award in conjunction with the 75th birthday of Sultan Ahmad Shah Monday.
Twelve people were conferred the Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP) which carries the title Datuk Seri.

I embarked on the Temerloh bus, and after stopping at several towns, we made the junction, where I got off to wait for the bus to Kuala Bera, which is located where the Bera River flows into the Pahang.
The river stretched before us in many green bends that faded into the duller shades of distance in the mists that hovered like steam over the water.
They go clear up the Digul river to Tanah-Merah, which is not shown on most maps, as it is a new Dutch project.
