Bermondsey is a south-eastern district of inner London, containing much of the docklands to the south of the river Thames.
It was in the Metropolitan Borough of Bermondsey from 1900 until 1965, since when it has been a part of the London Borough of Southwark.

Bermondsey is NOT the place to be walking the streets at that time of day; and the only clubs close by are not particularly salubrious.
Markets in the less popular areas tend to be domestically biased — fruit/veg etc. — but there are stalls buried in there that may appeal.
