I don't think the world has enough cricketing popularity to be played in the Olympic Games, (the way the IOC choose sports at the moment is based on how many continents the sport is played on).
There's no question that cricket needs to increase in popularity in the Americas, but I think there is enough participation in the US and Canada to technically meet the North American requirement, and the West Indies have got to count for something.
Play them as unofficial exhibitions that don't count statistically because the teams can't be expected to produce their best ODI and Twenty20 sides on short notice, and then they can introduce their players who can't get a game in the Tests.

To all the members of the team I wish you best of luck when you face the WI on sunday, as a big fan of the WI I would still like to see you'll do well.
They may not be winning, (really, who's gonna beat us in Cricket and Rugby) but there is never an air of defeat and the game is played with all heart until the final ball/whistle/hooter etc. So I say in closing that I slaute you and hope to see you guys trying hard again.
