		Bernhard Rust ( 1883 --May 1945) was Minister of Education in Nazi Germany.
		Rust was instrumental in purging German universities, most notably the University of GÃ¶ttingen, of Jews, left-wingers and other non-Nazis.
		Rust committed suicide when it became clear that Germany was losing the war.

		Instead of creating a physical barrier, it is a catalyst that mediates the reaction that leads to rust.
