		Nothing was wrong with Bernie in his prime.
		He kicked around as a back up (in Dallas and Miami I believe.) That’s why they used it as a good comparison to Bledsoe who had some great seasons in New England (as well as some average ones there and at Buffalo) but who is now kicking around the league basically useless on borrowed time.
		Your quote doesn’t mention it but I think Bernie was even a pro-bowler one of those years.
