Science Fair Projects - Bernie Wolfe
In the provincial election of 1958 (in which Dufferin Roblin's Tories won a minority government), Wolfe was a Liberal-Progressive candidate in the Winnipeg-area riding of Radisson.
Wolfe ran for the leadership of the Manitoba Liberal Party (as the Liberal-Progressives had renamed themselves) in 1969, but finished well behind the winner, Robert Bend.
During the mid-1970s, there were suspicions that Wolfe's real estate interests might be in conflict with his civic responsibilities (particularly as regards the construction of a winter racetrack in the city).

Bernie Wolfe (hockey) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bernard R. Wolfe (born December 18, 1951 in Montreal, Quebec) is a retired Canadian National Hockey League goaltender.
Wolfe's NHL "career" was revived briefly in 1992, when the Capitals tried to sign him in order to make him the goaltender they would expose in the 1992 NHL Expansion Draft.
The move was immediately denied by the NHL for obvious reasons; Wolfe had long-retired from the NHL and was well into his career as a financial planner in the Washington, D.C. -metropolitan area.

Wolfe said he is confident a good subway operation would eventually pay for itself by attracting more people to transit, by reducing wear on roads and by increasing businesss along its routes.
