 | | Beryozovo was founded as a fortified settlement in 1593, which grew into a town of Berezov or Beryozov (Берёзов) in Tobolsk guberniya, 1,100 km north of the city of Tobolsk, situated on three hills on the left bank of the Severnaya Sosva River, 42 km above its mouth in the Ob, in 63 55 N. lat. |
