		The Besal Fund began in 1983 as a nonprofit endowed fund as a tribute to the leadership of, and to honor the memory of the late Robert J. Besal, who was a Vice President for Lithonia Lighting.
		Students on campuses that have qualified as Besal campuses can apply through their university’s Besal Liaison.
		Students must apply through the Besal Fund liaison at their school, no awards are given directly to the student.
