		BJK or Besiktas, established in 1903, is the oldest Turkish sports club.
		Besiktas Jimnastik Klubu (Besiktas Gymnastics Club, BJK for short) gets its name from one of the districts in Istanbul, Besiktas, where the club was established and has been based for a century.
		Besiktas, today is regarded as one of the "three big clubs" in Turkey, the other two are Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, all based in Istanbul.
