From the very beginning of its existence The LTO Lower Beskid (LOT Beskid Niski) is present with its own stands at every domestic tourism industry fair event in Warszawa, Krakow, Poznan, Lodz and Szczecin where it also presents a collective offer of its own as well as offers of its individual members.
Also, information on The LTO Lower Beskid has been inserted in the tourist map of the Podkarpackie Province, in the information material/booklets released/published by PROT (Tourist Organization of the Sub-Carpathian Region) and the government of the Podkarpackie Province;Promotion is also run with the usage of the industry and local media (articles, reportages and interviews).
The LTO Lower Beskid does not recruit paid employees; means for its activity come from the membership dues, donations and subsidies for carrying projects including funds from The European Union.

As far as the name Beskid goes, it comes from a mountain range which passes near the city of Bielsko-Biala, where both Bosmal and the FSM factory are located.
The most startling feature of the Beskid 106, and certainly the first to be noticed, is its very pretty and aerodynamic body design.
The rear seats of the Beskid can also be folded to create a two-seater with a huge 800 litre (or even bigger in the case of the third series prototypes) trunk.

The Beskid was a Polish vehicle designed in early 1980s at the Ośrodek Badawczo-Rozwojowy Samochodów Małolitrażowych factory.
In 1982 their construction plans were complete and they started working on the first prototype that was presented in the spring of 1983.

 Travel through south-eastern Poland
The Beskid Niski and its foothills, the Pogorze, are divided into two sections, and mark the geographical transition from the Eastern to the Western Carpathians, as well as the historic boundary between Red Ruthenia and Little Poland.
To continue round the Beskid Sadecki (Sondetski) loop, it is necessary to cross over to the right bank of the river, which for the next 15 miles (25 km) or so serves as the international frontier.
However, the finest and oldest wooden church in the Beskid Sadecki (Sondetski) is in Powroznik, 5 km from Muszyna along the loop road, which at this point starts to double back towards Nowy Sacz (Sonch).

Beskid Group of Dance and Song was named after Mt. Beskid and had a formed by the Lenko of Flax and Trade in 1954.
Beskid Group of Dance and Song comprised of 40 adult and about 120 children and they wear beautiful traditional costumes on their performances representing each polish province.
Recently Beskid Group of Dance and Song had performed in Europe and won many awards by participating in various traditional festivals at home and abroad.

The pattern of forest damage in the Silesian Beskid was analysed in relation to the mountain relief.

In the late 1940's the Soviet authorities deported a large part of the local population of Uniate Byzantine-rite Christians to the Soviet Union, while Poland's Stalinist authorities resettled the rest to the northern and western regions of Poland (this infamous operation was code-named Akcja Wis³a).
The Beskid Niski (Low Beskid) is the most extensive range in the Polish Carpathians and also, as its name implies, the lowest (the highest summit, Mt Lackowa, is 997 m).
In the 1960s the Bieszczady and the Beskid Niski saw a large-scale operation to control the population of wolves.

The conference was aimed at formulating common rules on managing the Silesian Beskid forest stands on both sides of the border.
Determining the role of spruce in the stands of Silesian Beskid is important to the proper breeding and selection management of the Beskid forests and enables their species conversion while conserving the gene pool of one of the best spruce races, namely, the Istebna spruce.
The conversion programme should aim to substantially reduce the proportion of spruce in the stands (from 90 to ca 50% by area) in favour of fir, beech and admixture species whose proportion should be increased to 20–30%.
