Despite their young ages the members of Betchadupa are well versed in the ways of the music business.
Singer/guitarist Liam Finn and drummer Matt Eccles are simultaneously blessed and cursed by being the prodigy of famous musicians - respectively, the sons of Neil Finn (Split Enz/Crowded House) and Brent Eccles (Citizen Band/ Angels).
Their name was changed to Betchadupa after objections from a company with a similar name making reclining chairs.

I wouldn't be the first person to point out that Aiming For Your Head is an uneven mix of all-out rock tunes and mellower numbers, but hopefully I'm not alone in saying they're a bloody good batch of songs as well.
betchadupa have a huge amount of cultural and genetic influences to draw on, from gentle moody numbers to ballsy riffs and wails, and who's gonna resist showing off all of these at one point or another?
There are hits aplenty on Aiming For Your Head, some destined to be faves of sweaty boys jumping around, others for their girlfriends, swooning quietly inside as the throngs leave the moshpit none the wiser.
