	Clive Betts - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Born in 1950 in Sheffield, Clive Betts was educated at the Longley School in Sheffield and the King Edward VII School, Sheffield; and Pembroke College, Cambridge, where he received a degree in economics and politics.
		Clive Betts had been elected as a councillor to Sheffield City Council in 1976, he was its deputy leader under David Blunkett for a year in 1986, and succeeded Blunkett as the council leader in 1987.
		Clive Betts was made an Opposition Whip under Tony Blair in 1996, and after the 1997 General Election, he entered the government as an Assistant Whip, he was promoted in 1998 when he became a (full) Whip, with the title of Lord Commissioner to the Treasury.

	Leah Betts - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Leah Betts (November 11, 1977 - November 16, 1995) was a schoolgirl from Latchingdon in Essex, United Kingdom.
		However an official inquest determined that her death was not directly due to ecstasy consumption, but rather the large quantity of water she had consumed, apparently in observation of an advisory warning commonly given to ravers to drink water to avoid dehydration.
		Betts had consumed about 7 litres (1.85 gal.) in less than 90 minutes, resulting in water intoxication and hyponatremia (a dilution of the blood, disrupting sodium levels), which in turn led to serious swelling of the brain (cerebral edema), irreparably damaging it.
