The Spanish Archives Department is where the oldest historical BexarCounty Clerk Records dating from the early 1700's to the early 1900's, will be stored and made available for the public to view in the County Clerk's office.

BexarCounty is a county located in the state of Texas.
BexarCounty was created on December 20, 1836, and encompassed almost the entire western portion of the Republic of Texas, including the disputed areas of western New Mexico northward to Wyoming.
In the county, the population is spread out with 28.50% under the age of 18, 10.70% from 18 to 24, 30.60% from 25 to 44, 19.90% from 45 to 64, and 10.40% who are 65 years of age or older.
BexarCounty (M-15), in the interior belt of the Coastal Plain of South Central Texas, is crossed by the Balcones Escarpment.
The county is bounded on the north by Kendall and Comal counties, on the east by Guadalupe and Wilson counties, on the south by Atascosa County, and on the west by Medina and Bandera counties.
In 1982, 66 percent of the land in the county was in farms and ranches, with 27 percent of the farmland under cultivation and 14 percent irrigated.

The Texas AgriFood Master (TAM) program is a network of community educators who provide accurate information to consumer audiences in order that consumers are informed about agriculture, natural resources, food and environmental issues.
AgriFood Masters, trained and certified by the Texas Agricultural Extension Service to develop disciplinary expertise, will prepare consumers to make wise decisions regarding America's food and fiber system.
