In Baldur’s Gate, you defeated Sarevok, another child of Bhaal who killed your adoptive father, the wizard Gorion.
In MacPlay’s Baldur’s Gate II expansion pack Throne of Bhaal, which uses official Advanced Dungeons and Dragons rules, your story comes to an end.

Bhaal - Return to The Temple of Elemental Evil
Bhaal (Bahl), one of the Dark Gods, was the God of death, particularily of slaying, assassination, and violent death.
Often fortresses of Bhaal were citadels that sheltered many assassins and sent forth agents to nearby towns or city marketplaces to solicit patrons to hire the occupants of the citadel to perform killings.
After each murder, a priest of Bhaal drew Bhaal's symbol beside the corpse in the blood of the victim and smeared the blood on his or her own hands, from where it promptly vanished if the ceremony was done fitly.

Bhaal - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
One of the Dead Three, Bhaal was originally a mortal, who along with Bane and Myrkul took the portfolios of the ancient deity Jergal.
Patron of Assassins, Bhaal was feared throughout Faerûn - especially in the island realm of the Moonshaes.
A wholly evil, debased and sadistic god, Bhaal was served by the goddesses Talona and Loviatar and in turn served Bane (Myrkul, to a lesser extent, was also his master).

Baldur's Gate II - Throne of Bhaal Review for PC - Gaming Age   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-09)
Throne of Bhaal does just that- it is a nearly perfect conclusion to the Child of Bhaal saga, combining deft storytelling, an intelligent abilities system, and the trademark high quality fans of the series have come to expect into one superlative package.
Throne of Bhaal picks up immediately after the end of Shadows of Amn and puts the player-one of the offspring of the dead god Bhaal, Lord of Murder-in the midst of a rapidly unfolding dark prophecy.
All of the original voice actors were brought back to reprise their roles, and the new characters are also brought to life with the same quality as the more familiar faces.

Throne of Bhaal Characters (Baldur's Gate 2)
By the time you arrive in Throne of Bhaal, any of the NPC's you bring with you from the first game will be formidable party members, having long ago overcome their original flaws and drawbacks (or at least learned how to cover them up with gauntlets of dexterity or something like that).
Unsurprisingly, she has a lot to say about the events of Throne of Bhaal, and is very much worth taking along for plot and character development purposes.
The interesting friendship she developed with Korgan in SoA seems to have devolved in ToB, unfortunately--Mazzy was the only way to evoke any three-dimensionality from the bristly dwarf, who opened up to her, told her his life story, and actually promised to try to behave himself better for her sake, between raunchy passes.

The Armchair Empire - PC Reviews: Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal (Expansion Pack)
So, after treating PC gamers to arguably some of the best role-playing of their lives (at least that didn't involve a French Maid's uniform) the Baldur's Gate series draws to a close with the expansion pack to Baldur's Gate II.
Throne of Bhaal does exactly as it should in fulfilling its expansion pack duties admirably as it throws countless new magic goodies, new abilities, and a gargantuan leap in the experience points cap...oh, it brings the whole over-arching plot of the last three years to a close too.
Throne of Bhaal does a very good job of drawing the Baldur's Gate series to a close.

RPGamer > Review > Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal
So while Throne of Bhaal was never meant to be "Baldur's Gate III," it remains the final chapter of the saga and has to be judged as such.
Not only did Throne of Bhaal do otherwise and fail in this promise, it actually represented a regression of the series into what seemed at times to be a mockery of its former glory.
The only two legacies Throne of Bhaal did not completely undermine with mediocrity were the two things that it probably could not have: the voice actors and soundtrack.

Low-Spoiler Baldur's Gate 2 Throne of Bhaal Game Guide (ToB)
Have all the NPCs you want for the duration of Throne of Bhaal in the party with you, have all the items you want to be able to access again in your inventory with you, and don't leave Amn until everything you wanted to do there is done.
However, though Throne of Bhaal doesn't have quite the replayability of Shadows of Amn, it is much, much shorter, so it is very easy and enjoyable to simply finish the saga for each group you took through Shadows of Amn--and choose a different path for each one.
If you were romancing her in Shadows of Amn, she may have ended your relationship on friendly terms, in which case she may fall back in with you in Throne of Bhaal (even if she left the party, as you will have a chance to summon her back).

Platform(s): PC The question of whether it is better to burn out or fade away may have been on the minds of the Bioware/Black Isle developers as they set about creating what was to be the concluding chapter of the monumental Baldur's Gate (BG) series of CRPGs.
As evident with Throne of Bhaal (ToB) - a Baldur's Gate II expansion pack so huge that it could easily have been a game in itself - the developers apparently answered the question by creating a supernova of quality gaming.
ToB continues the saga of the child of Bhaal began in the original Baldur's Gate.

 Bhaal - Page 2 - Wizards Community
Kazgorath was servant of Bhaal in the Moonshaes, not his avatar, but he was indeed a fiendish-like T-Rex that could cause lycanthropy among other things.
Other servants of Bhaal included his "children", a flock of advanced perytons, an advanced doppelganger, and an advanced owlbear -- all of which, it should be noted, resemble a magical mixture of more than one real-world animal often with some magical abilities.
Bhaals essence is for the most part scattered across the etherial plane.

First Impressions: Baldur's Gate - Throne of Bhaal (PC) - Gaming Age   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-09)
What did come as a surprise to fans of the BG series was that the expansion pack for BG2 would formally conclude the Child of Bhaal saga that began with back in 1998 with Baldur’s Gate, shattering assumptions by both fans and the press at that the Baldur’s Gate saga would be a full-blown trilogy.
The core gameplay in Throne of Bhaal remains virtually unchanged from Shadows of Amn, but if there was ever a case where the cliche “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” applies, it would be to this expansion.
If the game is able to maintain the level of high quality-something that over the years we have come to expect from Bioware-that the first few hours have, then it is already on the fast track to an RPG of the Year nomination from this writer.

Throne of Bhaal, the expansion pack for Baldur’s Gate II that completes the story of one cunning son of a God, is compelling enough to make you want to play from the beginning but not good enough to satisfy in the end.

Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal
From here, Throne of Bhaal places you in a besieged city named Saradush, trapped between an invincible army of fire giants led by a Bhaalspawn named Yaga Shura and a crazed despot Bhaalspawn inside the city who Yaga Shura is after.
As with Baldur's Gate II, Throne of Bhaal allows you to either generate a brand new character at a level appropriate for beginning the adventure or import your own character from an old Baldur's Gate II save.
For better or worse, Baldur's Gate II does a good job replicating the ideal Dungeons and Dragons game; the world is very open-ended, and you get plenty of chances to role-play your character by deciding between different choices that reflect on your alignment and your reputation.

The storyline becomes more linear in this final chapter of the Bhaal saga and I for one felt that it was necessary and furthermore the game ís an expansion pack and not a third full game so I don't understand the people who thought it was too short.
True, it is finished much faster than the previous games but it needed to maintain its momentum, it couldn't afford to slow down because otherwise the ending would have been somewhat of an anti-climax if the people at Black Isle Studios (today just Bioware) had chosen to slow the game down.
While Throne of Bhaal may disappoint some people because it is shorter than the previous games I found it to be an incredible experience.
