It may be noted that most of the Bhatias are found in the states surrounding Rajasthan, in Kutch in the South, Punjab in the North, Sindh in the West and Madhya Pradesh in the East.
Bhatias from Kutch are Kutchi Bhatias, those from Sindh (in present day Pakistan) are known as Sindhi Bhatias and those from Punjab are known as Punjabi Bhatias.
Bhatias are also found in large numbers in cities of Mumbai, Cochin and Kozhikode in Kerala, the Kutch district of Gujarat, Delhi and Punjab.
