Bhupinder Singh Hooda (born September 15, 1927) is an Indian politician and the current Chief Minister of Haryana.
B.S. Hooda also served as the President of HPCC (Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee) from 1996 to 2001.
Hooda is well known for leading various farmer movements in Haryana.

Bhupinder Singh Hooda, MP from Rohtak, was today elected leader of the Haryana Congress Legislature Party.
Hooda's name was proposed by senior MLA Kartar Devi and seconded by others, including the Uchana MLA, Birender Singh, and the Rewari MLA, Ajay Yadav, both of whom were also aspirants for the post.
Hooda's election comes three days after the CLP at its first meeting in Chandigarh passed a one-line resolution authorising the Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, to appoint the CLP leader.

Police sources said the audiotapes contained conversation between Hooda and Geeta’s maternal uncle, Umed Singh, in which the latter has said that the couple was on the verge of splitting and the girl’s family had desired that whatever articles were given at the time of marriage, along with other expenses incurred, be returned to them.
Hooda is said to have agreed but made clear a receipt be given in return for these items and the cash.
