The Avengers were created as a team by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby as a group of five of Marvel's popular heroes at the time: Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Ant Man, and The Wasp.
The Avengers' next watershed moment was when all of the remaining founders left the team in issue #16 (May 1965), replaced by three former criminals: The Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Hawkeye (the first two having been mutant foes of the X-Men).
Thomas' biggest contribution to Avengers lore was the creation of the android hero the Vision in #57 (October 1968), who was loosely based on another 1940s hero of the same name and who turned out to be the body of the original Human Torch with the mind patterns of the villain Wonder Man.

Take that either as impressive, a series with its own bibliography, or as daunting as one of those old textbooks one ditched for the escape of comic books.

The initial Hulk series only ran for six issues before being cancelled by Marvel, due to low sales and the limited number of titles Marvel was then allowed to publish: in order to free space on the publishing schedule and give Spider-Man his own comic, The Hulk was cancelled.
After several years, the Hulk's popularity was enough to cause the book to be renamed The Incredible Hulk, where its run continued until March 1999, at which point the series restarted with a new issue #1.
The third and current Hulk series premiered in April 1999, with the title being returned to The Incredible Hulk with issue 12.

Avengers 88 (Marvel) 1971 "The Summons of Psyklop (In the Grip of Psyklop, part 1)" story, Ellison; adaptation, Roy Thomas; pencils, Sal Buscema; inks, Jim Mooney --Continued in Incredible Hulk 140.
The commercial was basically Harlan, with a title overlay reading "Harlan Ellison: Noted Futurist", walking through a museum-like set, walking around the GEO, and making the pitch.

Its bibliography is intractably complicated: the original Spanish title was Amadís de Gaula; the title of the first French edition was Amadis de Gaule, and this still commonly appears; an occasional anglicized version of the title is Amadis of Gaul.
A further relevant title is Running from Safety (1994), a loose sequel to One where RB goes back in time to meet his nine-year-old self.
American Fairy Tales, as such and under that title, was first published in the USA in 1901; a revised version, as Baum's American Fairy Tales and adding three stories, was published in 1908.

As Cushing was one of the U.K.'s first well-known actors for the small screen, it's truly sad that so few of these early plays were recorded and fewer still preserved.
It is likely that the assertion of nine plays instead of eight in two years is just a slip of the pen.
Although the series has never been well known in the U.S., in Britain it got Cushing's name as associated with the role as he was with Frankenstein and Van Helsing.

The Avengers and Doctor Strange (Dr. Stephen Strange) battle Morgan Le Fey on the astral plane.
Told from the point of view of both Uther and Merlin through a series of flashbacks to explain why Uther is the half-dead king of the title.
The remaining Avengers awaken as Morgan's hold over them weakens, and they pour their combined strength into Wonder Man. The Avengers defeat, and possibly destroy, Morgan, and the world is restored to normal.

The complicated storyline involved Morgan Le Fay's raising of the sunken continent of Atlantis in attempt to restore her homeland of Avalon.
In this less-successful story, Doom and the armored Avenger were drawn to the year 2093, where Merlin and a child Arthur had reappeared in Britain's time of greatest need.
