		Charles Bickford (born January 1, 1891; died November 9, 1967) was an American actor, who was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
		Bickford turned to character acting and established himself firmly on the silver screen in many roles.
		Bickford was nominated three times for an Academy Award.

	Pawling News Chronicle - News - 05/12/2004 - Court schedule set for Bickford in O'Toole case
		Richard W. Bickford was arrested by Dutchess County Sheriff's Officers at the train station in Pawling shortly after the collision, and accused of having been driving the truck that crossed the center line and struck the O'Toole vehicle.
		Bickford is charged with causing the deaths of Chris and Erin O'Toole in the highway collision, while operating a vehicle in an intoxicated condition, and engaging in reckless conduct, which Whitesell said has to do with crossing over the double yellow line, and driving at speeds that were unreasonable, given the road conditions.
		Bickford's next scheduled appearance in court is June 30, the date the judge has set for his decision on the defense motions.
