Ok as i understand it, Sentry is this big hero but for some reason, everyone was made to forget he existed and he was made to forget he had powers.
Then later in the movie he is in the comic store and he is busy knocking things over with his broken leg as he sits in the wheel chair.
Or maybe Sentry is a human but much like the 616 version was forgotten; he could have been fighting in space (remember Spidey said the 616 version fought Galactus to a standstill), fell Earth and was exiled into the Russian bunker instead of being allowed to live a normal life.

Pretty good issue, if I must say so myself -- The stories are: "The All-Seeing Eye," in which Jughead gains a third eye; "The Elevenaire II," sequel to "The Elevenaire," a story which ran in Archie #545.

Now that the wheel has turned to the US, anime is gaining an ever greater foothold in the mainstream US comics market.
Most take place in summer (to attract college students of course); from I-Con in the East, to Contoon in Ohio, to Project A-Kon in Texas, but none holds as much prestige and attendance as the two "Big Ones" in (where else) California, namely Anime Expo (AX) and Anime America (AA).
Pioneer hit the jackpot last year with its US release of Tenchi Muyou, which proved to be astronomically successful, rocking to the #1 ranking as the most popular OAV (Original Animated Video, also known as OVA) series in the recent annual rec.arts.anime poll.

"Reborn" was a controversial flop, and the Heroes went back to their proper spot in ANOTHER follow-up event entitled "Heroes Return" in late 1997.
The recent trend in comics seems to be ingoring, negating or repairing the stuff from 1984-1997 ("Identity Crisis", "Green Lantern: Reborn", "Green Arrow", etc) and it seems Busiek was the first writer to start this effect.
