Big whoop: Whooping cough cases up tenfold
Children are supposed to receive the vaccine at 2, 4 and 6 months of age, again between 12 and 18 months and a final booster around the time they start kindergarten, Bleau said.
Three day care centers contacted said they have not had any confirmed or suspected cases of whooping cough, although hand, foot and mouth disease and the flu have been going around the last couple of weeks.
Characteristic "whoops" can be heard when the person tries to breathe in.

\'big 'wup\ n - Of little consequence; does not matter; so what.
Often used as a sentence on its own as a declaration of disinterest or to communicate that one may be over-exaggerating the significance of a situation; "So what if it's snowin', big whoop." Interestingly, this is a constant-inverse phrase; i.e.
, if something is consequential or noteworthy, never is it a big whoop.

 Fool.com: U.K. McDonald's Rests Its Arches [Motley Fool Take] October 15, 2004
I for one don't believe that in so doing, McDonald's will create some kind of "brand vacuum," as some folks can be found to have said in media reports.
McDonald's isn't the only restaurateur doing this: Hardee's owner CKE Restaurants (NYSE: CKR), for instance, has gone after both salad eaters and low-carb beef buffs with its offerings, while Jack in the Box (NYSE: JBX) has made a reenergized menu a cornerstone of its brand revitalization.
There'll always be a market for the Big Mac and fries -- even in the U.K. -- but it's increasingly hard to believe that healthier eating is a passing fad.

True, right now, at the beginning, these companies need the big media brands to drive and draw consumers online, but the migration is quite inevitable, and with increasing user sophistication, the big media brands will be back to competing online, the same way they are struggling offline.

Plamegate: One Of The "Big Whoop" Stories Of All Time - Sean Hannity Discussion
So we learn, at last, from the New York Times, that Robert Novak called Karl Rove and said he heard Joseph Wilson's wife, who was NOT a clandestine agent at the time, worked for the CIA.
To which Rove replied -- of the women who was NOT a clandestine agent at the time and who he almost surely had no reason to know had at some point in the previous years BEEN a clandestine agent -- "I heard that too."
This surely qualifies as one of the "hey, big whoop" stories of all time.

It had been three days and he was still hanging off a cord, overtop a bottomless pit, while clutching a chest which contained the legendary treasure of Big Whoop within.
All he seemed to remember was his little escapade against LeChuck on Monkey Island, and that he needed to find Big Whoop for some reason or other, so said a fragment of paper from a journal written in his writing.
But from then on, things just got worse for him until now, where he had finally found Big Whoop, but the only way to save himself would be to let go of the chest and use his free hand to climb to safety.

It emphasizes the idea of the Beatles as a real, live rock band for the last time, and helps to communicate that simple joy of playing in a band together.
The naked album unfortunately completely cuts out "Maggie Mae." This was only 40 seconds long and something of a joke, so you might say it's no big loss.
It was, however, a pretty good joke, and added a nice bit of rough texture to the whole album.
