  London Biggin Hill Airport - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
London Biggin Hill Airport (IATA: BQH, ICAO: EGKB), formerly RAF Biggin Hill, is an airport at Biggin Hill in London Borough of Bromley, England.
Due to the impending closure of the nearby original London Airport at Croydon, from 1956 much of the civilian light aviation from Croydon relocated to Biggin and it became a joint civilian/military airport.
Biggin Hill is also the location of an annual airshow, usually on the first weekend in June.

Biggin Hill is a place in the London Borough of Bromley in London, England.
Although development slowed after Dougal's death, Biggin Hill gradually grew in size; as the history says "as can be seen from the maps of 1939, the land was now heavily built upon and there was further development in the 1960’s when suburbanisation was popular.
RAF Biggin Hill was the home airbase of the first aircraft to take part in air to ground radio communications, and of the first British aircraft to shoot down a German aircraft in World War II.
