 | | I don't know Bild, but if it's like the Post, it caters to an audience that isn't a self-designated elite, unlike the audience of the NY Times, etc. The sensibility and layout of the Post are for the prole audience, but its reporting is as solid as anything else out there. |
 | | Bild also more accurately reflects the views of the average Joe (Zepp) on the street than the other German publications that are meant for the "Bildungsbürger" (educated citizens), which are dominated by the chattering classes who speak before they think. |
 | | Who gives a shit that bild may be "endorsing bush", at the same time they are endorsing AND promoting (with tax payer funds) the impotence of the german society in relation to the world stage and it's willingness to shout nonsense from the side-lines due simply to it's own capabilities. |
