William Henry (Bill) Domm (July 24 1930 - January 8 2000) was a Member of Parliament (MP) in the Canadian House of Commons from 1979 to 1993.
Domm represented the riding of Peterborough, Ontario from the 1979 federal election until his defeat in the 1993 election.
Domm's lobbying for the death penalty resulted in a free vote being held in the House of Commons in 1988, however the motion to restore capital punishment was defeated.
Gordon Domm is the retired Police Officer who defied the Karla Homolka Trial Publication Ban in late 1993 by distributing details from the foreign media about that trial.
After accepting Domm's factum (written argument) as filed by his lawyer, the Ontario Appeal Court scheduled and confirmed his Appeal Hearing for Monday, February 19, 1996 to be held at Osgood Hall on University Avenue in Toronto.
Her bill is now in second reading debate stage in the Senate of Canada, and she is hopeful that this bill will pass in both the Senate and in the House of Commons.
Bill C-68 became law last December and most people in the province think that's just fine.
Under the bill, Canada's estimated three million gun owners have to be licensed by 2001, while the nation's estimated seven million rifles and pistols must be registered by 2003.
Kevin Domm, the son of a former Tory MP, complains of being nailed under the short-barrel rules.
Gordon Domm is head of Citizens' Coalition Favouring More Effective Criminal Sentences, based in Guelph Ontario.
A justice activist and a retired police officer, he is probably best known for his recent public defiances of the Karla Homolka (Teale) Trial Publication Ban.
Although there have been other apparent breaches of the ban, Domm is the only person to date to have been charged.
In a statement after the meeting, he echoed his comments from yesterday that he wants a comprehensive bill that establishes a guest-worker plan and provides a path to citizenship.
Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, on the other hand, called Bush's announcement today "an important first step." Frist co-signed a letter to Bush yesterday asking him to undertake an FTC probe, and issued a (self-)congratulatory statement today.
Democrats have released a "Top 10" list of reasons why Republicans are to blame for the crisis, including accusing the GOP of being in cahoots with oil and gas companies and blaming the price spike on poor war planning in Iraq, which they say has blocked the supply of oil to the United States.

The petition was initiated by Mrs Groombridge, a resident of Chemong Road north of Parkhill (formerly Smith Township).
Mrs Groombridge noted in a cover letter with the accession file that after the area was annexed to the City, she started to receive bills from the PUC with a Stewart Street address and that "this action compelled me to do something to save this historic route".

Arriving early at the “WWD” (not so warm) on New Year’s Day, the location where we all “concluded” was going to be the only place to land carp at this time of the year.
Domm gets the idea to give the Muddy River confluence a look (this is where Domm and Jerome did so well just a couple weeks prior).
After a little persuading, 4 crazy NE carpers were off to the Muddy (Jerome, Vinny, Domm, and Bill), with 2 others, Chris and Bob, deciding against it.

In 1993, and early 1994, CAFE led a campaign against Bill 56, a piece of legislation proposed by an obscure Tory backbencher named Charles Harnick.
Among other atrocities, this bill would have created a provincial hate law and permitted civil suits which could have bankrupted organizations and individuals.
Indeed, had this bill passed, it's likely church leaders and other concerned citizens would have been unable to voice their opposition to the then-NDP government's bill extending same-sex benefits to homosexuals and lesbians.

NEWS 10NBC checked with every school district in Monroe County and found energy costs are hitting them all and most are making cost-cutting changes.
“I evident that costs are going up maybe even further beyond what we budgeted as the year goes on so I think some of us are taking some steps in order to try to address some of that“ said BillDomm, assistant superintendent for business at West Irondequoit School District.
Domm tells NEWS 10NBC they are lowering their after-school temperature settings by 3 degrees and the plan is to close all six of their Kindergarten through 3rd grade schools over the December and February breaks.

Most of them I have sent to prominent Canadians, all members of Supreme Court, etc. Also I have sent this pamphlet twice to all members of the Canadain Parliament.
One of the members, M. BillDomm has two times asked the head of RCMP, Solicitor General Robert Kaplan to answer accusations I have made.
In 30, January 1981 M. BillDomm sent a letter to solicitor General Robert Kaplan and asked him to comment upon accusations I had made.
MP BillDomm, who was perhaps the most outspoken anti-metric Conservative MP, was the "ringleader" of the project according to a December 1982 Canadian Press story.
• In a February 1983 Toronto Star article, Domm said he and the other MPs were willing to go to jail on this if necessary, and that they hoped the case would be brought to the Supreme Court.
Consumer Affairs Minister Andre Ouellet, however, said he was in no hurry to prosecute them.
Other than this, I have a letter from the factory to Mr.
Domm stating that the car was originally delievered to an Italian customer and the listing in Hil Raab's book showing it originally destined to Swiss dealer Montchoisy.
Another interesting tidbit is this brief mention in the Ferrari Market Letter from April 15, 1989 (vol 14, no 8):
Bill Duggan, I am the great, great, great, great nephew of John Barry.
The history of Philadelphia is very interesting and very much fascinating to learn about the colonial days.

If you had a multi-national company with a few (ok many) Domino servers deployed in each of the continents, would you place a BES in each region or dish it all out from one?
Bill, I've been looking at them but I haven't been able to get a good sense of what data plan is appropriate.
Appreciate feedback which data plan *you* would fall under.
The local reaction to forced metrication was unfavorable and she took the time to document the expenses involved in the program and to launch and effective movement to stop compulsory metrication.
Operation HUMBUG (Help Undo Metrication -- Bug your MP) was instrumental in convincing Peterborough MP BillDomm and former Minister of Small Business Ron Huntington to become outspoken critics of the program.
Metrication has effectively been delayed two years as a result of HUMBUG's efforts.
A 12" with great remixes from the Kill Bill Vol 1 soundtrack ("Bang Bang" over beats from Dizzy Rascal etc)
I planned to buy "Null Uhr", the "Kill Bill remixes" were suggested to my by the store owner, and the two other seemed interesting enough after searching through a lot of uninteresting stuff.
Yesterday I went to the record store again, with the intention to by the new Dizzy Rascal record.
