 Bill Hemmer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bill Hemmer (born November 14, 1964) is a journalist who spent 10 years at CNN before moving to the Fox News Channel in August 2005.
He is a graduate of Elder High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, and of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Hemmer was scheduled to debut on Fox News on Monday, August 29, 2005, but started a day early to assist with the cable network's coverage of Hurricane Katrina.

Bill Hemmer, co-anchor of CNN's "American Morning," may leave the cable news network after being told that executives want to shift him to the post of senior White House correspondent.
Hemmer, who for the moment is barred from negotiating with other networks, said he is weighing the White House post -- recently vacated by John King -- against his enjoyment of living in New York.
Hemmer said he must decide whether to continue in some capacity at CNN or whether there is "another venue that is more worthwhile" for his career.
