Or perhaps Bill Jemas is simply an unprofessional person who doesn't understand that insulting everyone else to gain attention is a tactic best left in junior high school.
Levitz, in a show of class that would undoubtedly be lost on Jemas, refuses to comment and get into a war of barbs and cut downs that serve no purpose beyond generating negative publicity.

At any rate, Waid rejected whatever notion Jemas tried to plant in his head, saying it was too different from what they had hired him to do in the first place.
In the Newsarama interview, Waid expresses his belief that Jemas may be replacing him with...Jemas himself, but reminds his fans that it's "...(Jemas') company, his prerogative." Naturally, in the span of 24 hours, the internet has been aflame.
Think about it, put out some nasty rumors that this is all some evil plot by Bill, that there are 3000 submissions gathering dust, that the editors aren't reading pitches and the fewer people that submit, the better the chances of those that are already through the door.

Frankly, while there are times Jemas is right, I guess the most significant reason Marvel has or was as good as it is or was is due to Quesada and crew being able to wrangle writers as good as Morrison or Bendis or JMS to work on comic books.
Jemas doesn't seem to be making his job any easier.
Bill Jemas i will admit has done a great deal of good for marvel, but his policies are increasingly questionable and controversial.

I couldn't help but notice that Marvel president Bill Jemas is sharing credit with other writers for an awful lot of books, and I couldn't help but wonder, since all I really know of Jemas is that he's a suit who's expressed his admiration for the 60's Batman series.
Editors at Marvel and DC have contributed to storylines for decades without needing to feed their ego with a story credit but Jemas has to have his name on everything.
At a con I was at last year, Bendis says they give Jemas a credit in Ultimate Spider-Man because it was his idea to do the re-vamp and the magazine.

This seems to be against the grain of current industry practices, particularly at Marvel with Jemas' decision to change Thunderbolts and the mess he made of the Fantastic Four.
Jemas was good when it came to bringing Marvel out of bankruptcy, I don't fault him that.

Bill Jemas has for weeks promised details of his new company, but the details about the project -- 360epm -- have been slow in coming.
The "epm" stands for "Entertainment Property Management." The company seems to be billing itself as a new combination of agents -- who sell concepts to publishers, broadcasters, and licensors -- and consultants, who help create and develop properties, acting as their agent as well.
Besides Bill Jemas acting as CEO, the company has Alex Hamby (known for HeroRealm) as its webmaster and Russ Brown (who worked with Jemas in licensing for Marvel).

I'm just finishing up with this week's comic reviews, but then this great piece was given to me by Bill Jemas.
Where would the industry be without Jemas and EIC Joe Quesada' Probably in a state similar to the mid-late 90s when a top book sold under 80,000 copies.
Jemas knows that Quesada knows what he's doing and gets him the talent he needs.
