William Hall Macy (born March 13, 1950) is an actor, teacher, and director, in theatre, film, and television.
Macy is particularly proud of the writing for that film; he turned the commercial-interrupted format of television into an advantage in the film, by breaking the story up into several uninterrupted stories.
He should not be confused with actor Bill Macy who co-starred in the television series Maude.

Macy, before his success in Maude, was something of an entertainment journeyman, performing in comedy clubs, playing bit parts in movies as well as television shows, including The Edge of Night and All in the Family.
He should not be confused with younger film actor William H. Macy.

When Betty Parker (Joan Allen) is playing cards with three other women, one of the women appears to be William H. Macy (who plays her husband, George Parker) in drag.
After viewing - and pausing - the "Pleasantville" DVD, I have to agree that it is NOT William H. Macy in drag during the table sequence.
I can see why someone would think so, but upon closer examination it is not.

Felicity recently won a Lead Actress in a Comedy Emmy for her work on Desperate Housewives.
This fanlisting is best viewed with a 1024 x 768 resolution, a 32 bit monitor with millions of colors and a high speed internet connection with IE 6.0 for Windows (although I did build it for the most part on my iBook G3).
