Per Truda McCoy in The McCoy's: Their Story, Roseanna had a daughter named Sarah Elizabeth who died as an infant and was buried under a pine tree near Betty McCoy's home.
The pictures of the Hatfield and McCoy Historical Marker and the tombstones of Ole Ran'l, Sarah and their son Samuel and wife Martha Jackson were shared by Howard Bohrn.
While not a McCoy or Hatfield descendant, he recently visited Pikeville, Pike Co., KY and the Dils Cemetery where Ole Ran'l, Sarah and their son Samuel and his wife Martha Jackson are buried.

The bill would allow elected officials to purchase purchase one-half year of creditable state Public Employees Retirement System service for each year of service an elected official, up to a maximum of 8 years of additional creditable service.
That bill amended the state's retirement laws to allow longtime legislators with 33.5 years of qualified PERS service to draw retirement benefits in excess of 100 percent of their average salaries.
McCoy went on to say that PERS last year for the first time paid out more in benefits than it received in contributions.

If he wasn’t happy with changes made to his bill in committee, the 3/5ths vote would have been an impossible hurdle for tort reform proponents to jump if they were going to pass the bill.
McCoy’s reluctance to let the House vote on tort reform is a prime example, and it has much of the House ready to revolt.

As for plans for the new $10 bill, Alexander Hamilton, the nation’s first treasury secretary, is expected to stay on the front, with the Treasury Department remaining on the back, Thomas Ferguson, director of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, said in an interview.
The new $10 bill is expected to be unveiled this spring and put into circulation in fall 2005.
