Bill always tried to stay out of the limelight, sharing with me his belief that he was not going to be here much longer, and wanting instead to instill in others his deep love of children and his passion for doing everything that he could to save, protect and nurture these precious little ones.
Bill Pierce was committed to protecting and promoting the welfare of children, and to facilitating and improving adoption in law and in the lives of the families of adopted children.
