Bill Self - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bill Self (born December 27, 1962 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma) is the current head men's basketball coach at the University of Kansas, one of the most storied progams in men's college basketball history.
Self's stay at Illinois was so short that while he is credited with being a successful recruiter at Illinois, it was his successor as head coach, Bruce Weber, that reaped the benefits of those recruits, taking Illinois to the championship game in 2005.
Self is 72-24 (.750) in his third season at KU and 279-129 (.683) in his 13th season overall and 13-7 in NCAA tourney play.

 Crimes Amendment (Self-Defence) Bill - 12/12/2001 - 1R 2R COMM
The purpose of the Bill is to clarify and simplify the law as it relates to self-defence.
This bill will be good law that will do what the law should but often fails to do: swing the weight and function of justice behind the law-abiding and the innocent and stop it from coddling and apologising to the criminal.
The codification effected by the bill seeks to simplify the law by enabling defendants to rely on self-defence if they believe their conduct was necessary, even if they were wrong, so long as the response was objectively proportionate to the situation as they perceived it.

No Self By Bill Vallicella   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-14)
If anything were the self, then it would have two properties: it would not be liable to disease, decay, destruction or change generally, and it would be self-determining, i.e., it would have complete control over itself.
For it may well be that the existence of a (transcendental) self that is not experienced is a necessary condition of establishing that whatever is experienced is not a self.
It is therefore arguable that the existence of a transcendental self is a cognitive and soteriological presupposition: it is presupposed if there is to be insight that no object of experience is veridically identifiable as one’s very self, and it is presupposed if there is to be something that is saved from the samsaric predicament.
