Billy Casper won a total of 51 events on the U.S. tour and upto then end of 2000 that is a record bettered by only five players.

Casper is also wanted in a string of up to 30 San Diego robberies.
Casper was arrested Nov. 11 by Las Vegas police who were pursuing the robbers of a bar.
