Billy West (born William R. West on April 16, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American voice actor, best known for his roles in Ren and Stimpy and Futurama.
West provided the voice of Stimpy in Nickelodeon's The Ren and Stimpy Show from 1991 until 1996, and he provided the voice of Ren from 1993-1996 (after Ren's original voice and series creator John Kricfalusi was fired by Nickelodeon).
West is also a singer-songwriter with a band called Billy West and The Grief Counsellors.

Billy West grew up as a big fan of not just cartoons, but of Mel Blanc, June Foray, Bill Scott, and the other voice talents behind the cartoons.
West played a dozen different characters in Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, he was the most prominent roach in Joe's Apartment, Pidge on Voltron: The Third Dimension, Mr Eskimo in Drew Barrymore's Olive, the Other Reindeer, and George Klimer on The Oblongs.
He is not related to another comic Billy West, Roy B. Weissburg (1892-1975), who became famous as a Charlie Chaplin impersonator and starred in dozens of silent films in the 1910s and '20s.

All was well until Nickelodeon fired Kricfalusi over creative differences and West had to fill the shoes he left behind as the voice of Ren.
