		The Australian Government funds would go towards labour and materials for enclosing the verandah, constructing an accessible entrance ramp, and providing ramps, locks, signage and alarms for suitable fire exits for disabled children.
		Senator Boswell said the project will open up the centre to more children by making it more accessible to those with disabilities, and will help ensure the continued viability of the Kindergarten as an important early childhood education service in the region.

		Banana Shire mayor Glenn Churchill was lost for words yesterday when Biloela was named central Queensland's tidiest town.
		The shire scooped 13 awards in total, including the Litter Prevention Award for Biloela, Moura's Bush Spirit Award, while nine other towns were acknowledged for their commitment to the competition over two decades.
		Councillor Churchill expects the Biloela community to be surprised with the achievement, but says it has been planning to win the prestigious award for some years.
