Trelly Marigza, Gabriela-Negros Oriental head, blamed the exodus on the national government for failing to increase the salaries of its nurses.

Cleared was Jeceju Mana-ay, mayor of Bindoy town from 1986 to 1998, in a 14-page decision promulgated Aug. 2, 2005 by Associate Justices Roland Jurado, Diosdado Peralta and Presiding Justice Teresita Leonardo-de Castro.

At least 2,000 hectares of land in the towns of Valencia, Sibulan, Pamplona, San Jose, Amlan, Ayungon, Jimalalud, Bindoy, Dauin and Guihulngan, and in Bais City have been planted with abaca.
