		The situation is even worse in Kamakwie and Binkolo where 50% of the youth who had ever attended school, drop out of school go in Farming, local business and get married at earlier stage.
		As noted by the youth, the higher incidence of drop out has a multiplier effects in other areas such as employment and suggested as an underlying factor in problems of drug abuse, prostitution etc. Pregnancies happen throughout the years of their primary and secondary education.
		Many youth in Gbendembu, Binkolo and in Makeni, irrespective of sex is dropout from either the primary or secondary level.

	Joseph Momoh, former president of Sierra Leone, dies in Guinea
		Although he was cleared of treason charges and therefore escaped the death sentence, the former president spent several months behind bars until he was amnestied under a 1999 peace agreement.
