		The bird made in 3D Studio Max is actually made from one primitive box, which has been manipulated by making it into a Editable mesh, moving and scaling some of the vertexes, using a MeshSmooth and finally separating the wings from the body so the animation could be carried over to Performer.
		The bird has also got a texture of some feathers on the body and the wings, but it was difficult scaling them, so it might be hard to see.
		The code for moving the wings are the same for both the 3D Studio Max bird and the Performer bird.

		I recommend the JSP release, "Charlie Parker, A Studio Chronicle, 1940-1948." This is a 5-disc set that comprehensively surveys Bird's studio work during the stated period, including the famous Savoy and Dial sessions, and some rare early tracks from the early '40's.
		This set doesn't include any of Bird's post-1948 Verve material, but the sound is generally uniformly decent (as opposed to "Boss Bird" which, based on my limited exposure to it, doesn't have as consistently good sound).
		With these 2 sets you get virtually all of Bird's studio masters, in great sound, issued (sort of) by the original labels (or their descendants).
