 Boeing Bird of Prey
The "Bird of Prey" name was suggested as a classified aircraft in November of 2000 by Steve Douglas, a writer for "Popular Science." Based on a mysterious "Bird of Prey" patch, Douglas concluded that "Bird of Prey" was a variable-geometry aircraft with forward-sweeping wings.
Designing Bird of Prey was irrelevant to the company's A/F-X efforts (cancelled in 1994) and wasn't enough to win a spot for McDonnell Douglas when the JSF competition was narrowed to Lockheed and Boeing in 1996.
Bird of Prey was designed by the Phantom Works back when McDonnell Douglas was a separate entity from Boeing.

Ex Astris Scientia - The Bird-of-Prey Size Paradox
The BoP is called "B'rel" for the first and only time, and it is obvious that the Ferengi could rather have got hold of small and obsolete Klingon ships than of the supposedly larger and more powerful ships that are shown elsewhere in TNG, namely the supposed K'Vort class.
The design size of the BoP as evidenced by the scale chart and window rows is consistent at 110m, and the screen evidence from "Star Trek III" largely favors this size.
It should be annotated that in the case of the aft hatch as well as of the bridge full-scale mock-ups were involved that had to be built large enough to be recognizable but small enough for technical and financial considerations.

Now you see it, now you won't: Boeing lifts the veil on stealthy Bird of Prey - Jane's Aerospace News
Boeing's Bird of Prey technology demonstrator, unveiled in St Louis on 18 October after spending a decade in the world of 'black' or classified programs, is a very important step in stealth technology, combining a very low radar cross-section (RCS) with a renewed focus on visual and even acoustic signatures.
An unusual feature of the Bird of Prey was that it was designed with an all-manual control system, with pushrods and a mechanical mixer box linking the stick and rudder pedals to four control surfaces — elevons on the inner wings and 'rudderons' on the outer wing panels.
Many features of the Bird of Prey support the hypothesis that it was designed for unprecedented RCS levels: possibly an RCS of -70dBsm, or rather smaller than a mosquito.
