The Woodman Inn is directly in front of the superb old Curzon Street Terminus, the first train station to be built in Birmingham.
It was a bit weird seeing some of the world's top cyclists pedalling their way down Broad Street and probably even weirder for those happy couples who emerged from Brum's registry office to the loud commentary of David Duffield and cyclists whizzing past at 40mph.
