Birmingham Bloody New Street, however is unavoidable if you ever go on a train, and seems to be sponsored by car manufacturies to put you off ever using public transport again.
Birmingham New Street, in comparison, is a back street clap clinic, except that backstreet clap clinics tend to let you get in and out as quickly as possible, and will occasionally keep to the time of your appointment.

Birmingham New Street Station has long been considered one of the worst major train stations in the country with its subterranean platforms gigantic insects could scuttle along, a fume-filled waiting area as choking as a gas chamber and its hazardous overcrowding an 18th century slave ship owner would be proud of.
As of yet the use of the towers is has been decided, but with the new station already being planned to hold an enormous 23,225 square metres (250,000 sq ft) of retail space, the scheme is likely to have a massive impact on the city and should attract large amounts of interest from potential investors.
A third smaller tower may also be built near the New Street / Corporation Street entrance to the new station but efforts are being made to minimise the effect it may have on the nearby listed Rotunda which is currently being converted into apartments.

Originally opened as a temporary terminus of the London & Birmingham Railway in 1851, New Street Station proper opened in 1854 used jointly by the LNWR and Midland Railway.
Above-left we see the 'welcoming' entrance to New Street from the car park off Smallbrook Queensway and above-right the view of the actual entrance itself which is roughly to the centre-right of the previous shot.
Part of the problem is that all traffic travelling North out of the station passes by Proof House Junction which, due to its age, was never designed to handle the traffic which uses it today and furthermore, the station itself is entered through a handful of tunnels which again cannot handle the workload today.

Leaving New Street at 6.55pm, it travelled to Aston, Perry Barr, Handsworth Wood, Soho Soap works Jc, Galton Jc, Old Hill, Halesowen, Rubery, Halesowen Junction, Northfield, Kings Norton, Camp Hill, and Saltley.
