In an attempt to ease the poverty in Bisley the parish persuaded 68 persons to emigrate.
It is mentioned in the Doomsday book that there were two priests in the manor of Bisley, and a few remains have been unearthed, indicating the existence of a church in the Saxon era.

Putting on side quality and using Bisley as a yardstick, few things are evident; FA is heavier and I slightly prefer Bisley grip, hammer and trigger.
As for custom stainless steel Bisley from one of respected smiths, I would consider work that will include new line bore cylinder, those internal modifications to enhance durability of cylinder locking mechanism, and action tuning to get nice trigger pull.
The problem with working over a Ruger to try to make it into a Freedom Arms is that you're starting with a receiver that's already been machined and bored for a couple of dozen different dimensions and you are to some extent a captive of history.

 Bisley Field Target Organisation
Some 18 months ago and after considerable and lengthy negotiations by the Committee on behalf of its members a lease for the Mallabar building as well as land comprising the Club ranges was agreed with the NRA.
No other Club at Bisley has been afforded a lease for their ranges so far (as at May 1999).This lease was signed on the 13 January 1999 and runs for 21 years so the future of the Club is assured until then.
In order to fulfil the terms of the lease the club had to appoint 4 Trustees who are held legally responsible for the Club.

Bisley Ranges are just off the M3 motorway, and aren't too difficult to find.
Once in Bisley look out for some traffic lights with a road to your right named Queens Rd. Take the right tuurn into Queens road and go about 2miles to the Bisley Entrance (you'll pass Short Siberia range on your right, and Century range 600yd firing point, also on your right).
You can also stay overnight at the club facilities in Bisley.
