Bitzi is dependent upon community policing, and a concerted effort to create dangerous files and submit fraudulent judgements to Bitzi would work, at least for awhile.
It should also be noted that Morpheus is just one of several applications that enable Bitzi lookups or submissions, though most of these send users to a Bitzi web page rather than integrating raw data from Bitzi lookups into their user interface as Morpheus has (see screenshots above).

There’s too little private benefit to “tagging” at Bitzi, largely because what interfaces to what you have individually contributed are lame to the extent they exist.
The Bitzi use case is rather different from del.icio.us and Flickr but it can learn a lot from them.
All that said, Bitzi also uses the Tiger hash, which is not from the same family as SHA-1, as an insurance policy among other things.

Makes me even more confident to recommend PG and to hope Bitzi will be the last project I choose Oracle for.
For Oracle, that size is routine, and Bitzi will be much larger.
Oracle is simply proven to scale to the levels Bitzi expects in the fairly short term, while PG isn't (that isn't to say PG can't scale to those levels now, or perhaps next version, but I'll let someone else be the test case).

And Bitzy will in any case have to employ redirection for all such HTTP based URIs as they won't be able to employ a basic filesystem based web server space due to magnitude limitations on the number of children of a directory.
I encourage Bitzi to register and use their bitprint: URN (URI) scheme and not resort to further misuse (IMMHO) of the HTTP URI scheme for abstract resource names.

I’ve read about other peer-rating systems to combat spoofing, but this is one of the first anti-spoofing tools I’ve seen implemented in a P2P system.
I don’t know how well it’s going to work, because I don’t know a lot about how good Bitzi is. It certainly seems interesting.
Of course, it seems copyright holders could enter spoofed files into Bitzi and rate them with high integrity.

i'm a bit unsure as to how to use it but read the instructions on bitzi and also the sticky thread about using bitcollider.
Make sure you have Bitzi allowed in all your secirity apps and also allow it in your Browser pop ups....
