A Blaa is a doughy, white bread bun (roll) peculiar to Waterford City and County, Ireland.
The blaa, often mis-spelt as 'bla' or 'blah', is usually very soft, and covered with layers of flour.
Blaas are not a form of BAP as is sometimes suggested.

The Blaa Mobile was a 1967 Volkswagen Bus that I owned in Germany while I was stationed there with the U.S.Army.  It was given to me by a friend of mine, Aaron Saxon. 
The Blaa Mobile was an escape.  It allowed us to run away from  the reality of our daily military duties, if only for awhile.
The last time I saw the Blaa Mobile, it was being picked up by a couple of gentlemen who were going to ship it to Africa.
