	Black Creek Historical Society
		Some of Black Creek's oldest homes, along with their histories, are included in a 2006 calendar produced by the Wilson County Genealogical Society.
		The Black Creek Historical Society decided the restoration of this house would be a good project for them and after several years of work by many volunteers and workers, we presented this house to the Town of Black Creek in the spring of 2000.

		Black Creek is a community on the eastern side of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
		Black Creek was the host to several logging camps in the early years of the 20th century such as the Comox Logging and Railway Camp #3 which was on what is now Endall Road.
		In the 1950s many Austrian and German immigrants were sponsored by Black Creek Mennonites, and much of the life of the community was conducted in a mixture of German and English well into the 1960s.
