Like her father, the X-Men’s Banshee, Siryn (real name Theresa Rourke Cassidy) is an Irish mutant, who possesses the ability to fly and a "sonic scream" capable of injuring an opponent's hearing and sending powerful vibrations through the air.
This new facet of her powers has been stated not to work on mutants; it is unknown as yet whether or not it works on former mutants whose powers were stripped from them in the aftermath of the House of M event.
While in custody, Black Tom exonerated Theresa of responsibility for her crimes and wrote a letter to Sean explaining who she was.

Black Tom Cassidy, who's first appearance was in X-Men #101 (he was seen in shadow in X-Men #99 however), was the heir to his family fortune and the estate of Cassidy Keep in Ireland.

Thanks to Doctor Strange, Black Tom no longer possessed the ability to breach the magics that protected the Juggernaut, however the Celestial technology that Apocalypse had created the new Famine were almost up to the task.
Cassidy's wood form was dented and broken from Marko's blows but the damage that should have been done by Juggernaut's attack was not apparent, and Famine was healing himself rebuilding his body from the natural goodness around him.
Black Tom's defenses were almost non-existent these days and they were both teleported out.

I'm thinking Tom may have given her the name Siryn as an ode to her father without exactly letting it be known to her who her father was.

Black Tom somehow managed to survive and returned with no trace of the wood virus to help his long-time friend the Juggernaut to recover the Ruby of Cyttorak from a cult who had somehow removed the gem, thus draining the Juggernaut of his strength.
