		Blackacidevil is an ok album, but has many things wrong with it, like the vocals are distorted, there are hardly any guitar parts, and the drums are digital or something.
		The few decent tracks on here are nothing to write home about, and his voice is starting to go too, which adds to the humor.
		"Blackacidevil" isn't good enough to be a great rock album...or even a comedy album, for that matter.

		"Blackacidevil" was for all intents and purposes a Glenn Danzig solo album-long gone were the likes of John Christ and Eerie Von as well as the trademark AC/DC meets Elvis sound that was responsible for eventual classics as "Mother," "Twist of Cain," and "Dirty Black Summer."
		The signs for change were already underway with the release of "Danzig 4" where bits and traces of alternative-based fuzz rumblings and industrial/techno mixes marked that album's commercial hit, "Can't Speak" and also saw the band exploring newer possibilities that fell slightly away from their usual three-chord heavy rock devilstomp.
		So Danzig's fifth studio recording "Blackacidevil" was a trip into the unknown that largely fell away from any ties to his past.

		It would be easy to claim that Danzig was merely jumping on the industrial bandwagon made popular by Nine Inch Nails and Ministry, and there's an undeniable Reznor influence on the track "Sacrifice," among others.
		But the truth is that Danzig's penchant for hooks and catchy melodies is only taking a backseat here; the focus on "Blackacidevil" is experimentation, though the result is an album that inevitably is impressive to listen to but emotionally empty.
